People can really be harsh 30% is a lot

Most of the reviews on here are 1 star angry because:

1. Removal of in-app purchasing. apples 30% fee is very high even in the business world. Some dont understand this. Others dont care and think it is greedy for Comixology to have all purchases done on the website which works great on mobile and easily done. Maybe they should add in app purchasing back with a 15% hike on comics. 30% apple fee is a big chunk of revenue loss and causes higher prices for consumers as costs rise. It is likely against apple policy to make a comic specific buy button link in the way some suggest.

2. Amazon officially owns Comixology and you have to convert over and sync your account. Which is a great thing for us because it means less worrying about all your purchases getting stuck in a no longer relevant and company that took a dive. I am an Amazon Prime member and they are a great company with great customer service. Amazon is doing great and will be around for a long time. Amazon helped save the USPS. It is thanks to Amazon that you can buy products at 50% less cost of brick and mortar shops.

3. Some people have a huge library they are trying to view using old slow devices. Im always amazed at people expecting a demanding game or app to run without crashing on ancient devices. I have an iPad mini that still works great except it is slow and has near full memory and could use a reset cleanup. When an app shuts down on me I dont go and blame the developers and dump 1 stars on them. My iPad Pro runs them awesome. I only have 1 app that crashes because it was abandoned by devs and not updated to work with ios 9 and Pro.
